Each class is capped, regulated, and inspected with the same precision as Pro divisions. This page outlines the complete rules, eligibility requirements, sled standards, and entry process for all Amateur & Exhibition competitors.
The Amateur & Exhibition Division consists of four classes:
All four classes run qualifying on Thursday, with the top five riders from each division advancing to Finals on Friday. Each class is limited to 20 riders and requires a formal entry request.
These classes combine the excitement of emerging talent, the skill of experienced masters, and the uniqueness of vintage machinery—offering some of the most diverse and crowd-pleasing racing of the entire Hill Climb week.
To be considered for any Amateur or Exhibition class, riders must submit an entry request by January 23.

If a class receives more than 20 entries:
Entry Fee: $75 per class
Accepted entrants must submit ISR insurance, Snow Devils paperwork, and payment before the event.

A paid entry does not guarantee a run. Sleds failing inspection will not compete.
Final decisions regarding eligibility, safety, and technical legality are made by Snow Devils officials. Noncompliance may result in an indefinite ban from the Hill Climb.

If a rider is drawn into Non-Pro Masters and the Amateur class exceeds 20 entries, their name is removed from the Amateur draw.
