The Climb for Blaine — Benefit Sled Raffle Official Rules

1. Sponsor

This raffle (the "Raffle") is sponsored and operated by the Jackson Hole Snow Devils, a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Jackson, Wyoming ("Sponsor"). 100% of net proceeds benefit Blaine Matthews' medical and recovery costs.

2. Eligibility

The Raffle is open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are ineligible to win prizes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Some states and jurisdictions restrict or prohibit raffles by non-profit organizations. By entering, you certify that participation is permitted under the laws of your state of residence. It is the entrant's responsibility to confirm eligibility under applicable local law before purchasing a ticket.

3. Raffle Period

Ticket sales begin on the date the Raffle is publicly announced and end at 11:59 PM Mountain Time on September 30, 2026. The drawing will be held on October 1, 2026. The exact time and location of the drawing will be announced on the Sponsor's social channels and website at least seven (7) days in advance.

4. How to Enter

Tickets may be purchased online through the Sponsor's secure checkout for $25 per single ticket or $100 for a five-ticket bundle. Purchase confirms acceptance of these Official Rules. Each ticket is automatically entered into the drawing for all three prizes.

5. Prizes

• Grand Prize: One (1) 2026 Ski-Doo Summit Expert 154 Turbo with 10.25-inch display. Approximate retail value: $19,000 USD.
• Second Prize: One (1) 2025 Ski-Doo MXZ 200 #230 Edition. Approximate retail value: $5,000 USD.
• Third Prize: One (1) Springfield Saint Victor AR-15 rifle. Approximate retail value: $1,200 USD.

Prizes are awarded "as-is." No substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents will be offered, except at the Sponsor's sole discretion (for example, if a prize becomes unavailable through no fault of the Sponsor, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted).

6. Drawing & Winner Selection

Winners will be selected by a verified random drawing from all eligible entries received by the close of the Raffle Period. The drawing will be conducted in the presence of at least two officers of the Sponsor and recorded for transparency. The order of drawing will be: Third Prize, Second Prize, Grand Prize. An entry may win only one (1) prize.

7. Winner Notification & Claiming Prizes

Winners will be notified by phone and email using the contact information provided at entry within seven (7) days of the drawing, and will be announced publicly on the Sponsor's social channels. Winners must respond within fourteen (14) days of first notification to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be reached, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

The Third Prize (firearm) will be transferred only through a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer. The winner is responsible for completing all background checks and complying with all federal, state, and local laws governing firearm ownership in their jurisdiction. The winner must provide a destination FFL dealer; the Sponsor will coordinate the transfer at the Sponsor's expense up to a reasonable transfer fee. If the winner is legally prohibited from owning the firearm in their jurisdiction, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

8. Prize Delivery

Snowmobile prizes are available for pickup at one of the participating dealerships in Wyoming (Star Valley Ski-Doo, 4 Seasons Sports Center, or Rocky Mountain Powersports of Pinedale). The winner is responsible for transportation, registration, titling, taxes, insurance, and any other costs associated with taking ownership of the prize.

9. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to complete IRS Form W-9 prior to receiving any prize valued over $600. The Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 where required by law.

10. Refunds

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law. If the Raffle is canceled in its entirety due to circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, ticket holders will be notified, and the Sponsor will determine in good faith whether to refund tickets, redirect proceeds to the named beneficiary as a direct donation, or reschedule the drawing.

11. Use of Personal Information

Information collected at entry will be used solely to administer this Raffle, contact winners, and comply with applicable law. The Sponsor will not sell or rent personal information. Winners' first name, last initial, and city of residence may be announced publicly. Full names and contact details will not be published without the winner's consent.

12. Release & Limitation of Liability

By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, the participating dealerships and donors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or liability arising out of participation in the Raffle or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, except where such release is prohibited by law. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or undelivered entries; technical failures; or errors of any kind.

13. Compliance & Governing Law

This Raffle is conducted in accordance with applicable Wyoming law governing charitable raffles by qualified 501(c)(3) public charities. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Raffle will be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue lies in the state and federal courts located in Teton County, Wyoming.

Ski-Doo® and BRP® are registered trademarks of Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., used here solely to identify the prize. This Raffle is sponsored and operated by the Jackson Hole Snow Devils. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Bombardier Recreational Products Inc.

16. Tax Treatment

Raffle ticket purchases are not deductible as charitable contributions under IRS Publication 526. The IRS treats raffle, lottery, and game-of-chance tickets as the purchase of a chance to win, which has a fair market value equal to the price paid, and therefore the purchase is not deductible as a charitable contribution.

Direct donations made to the Jackson Hole Snow Devils outside of raffle ticket purchases — including contributions made through the "Other Ways to Contribute" section of the campaign page — are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Jackson Hole Snow Devils is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding deductibility of any specific contribution.
